Day 2 - In Tangier, Morocco

In day two my phone was like dead so I have three pictures, all of food... hahahah
But basically we got up to the hot day, cleaned and ate lunch

 

After the lunch me and my two cousins went out with my mom and my aunt :) We went looking for jewelry for Ahlam in the whoooole city, and she still couldn't choose -.-

After that we separated from them, I bought two watches

50 dh each, it's like 80kr for both :) bad camera, they look so much better in reality ;)

After some shopping we went and sat down at a nice cafe "la Gelateria" and ate dinner:

We had a huge ice cream desert that we shared. My phone had died by then so I don't have a picture of it, which I thought I had..

Anyways, that night we got back and laid in the livingroom and just talked half of the night, until we heard a wedding and went out to watch it. Not so much after that we fell asleep after my aunt came and told us too :)

Day 1 - Friday the 13th of April

I aall went on perfectly the moment I knocked at my aunt's door and two of my cousins opened! Beautiful moment! I wouldn't stop hugging everybody... hehehe.. Anyways, a few minutes later:

 

A huge plate of couscous in my face! It's a tradition in Morocco to eat couscous for lunch, every Friday! Hahaha. Btw, my camera sucks, not the food!

After that we relaxed and talked and prepared for the evening. We have this saying in Morocco "Eat lunch and rest, eat dinner and fest". But, before dinner me and my two cousins were on our feet:

We went out on jewelry hunt for my cousins wedding! Preparations! Preparations! Preparations!

 

I absolutely loved this... mashaAllah!

 

Finally, after a half dozen hours I got to meet my baby.. POMS! The best drink of the world!!!!!

 

We had a break from all of our shopping, sat down and ate at pizzeria de Luxe, famous in Tangier. After that we strolled through the large city, all the way home to my aunt again. That night ended with me and my two cousins, reunited :)

I've never been more dizzy flying than I was on these two flights. It was unbelievable, I just wanted to throw up, luckily I didn't ;) Anyhow we arrived smoothly and quickly to our destinations. I promised myself not to get too excited until I actually was in Morocco. I kept my promise well, because when I was there, it felt like I was dreaming...

I'M BACK

In my last post I told you that I got internet in Morocco but it stopped working on my computer and my cousin borrowed me his but it was too annoying to try to blog so I promised to do it when I got back. And now I'm back in Sweden, with a cold and need to sleep in order to get to school tomorrow inshaAllah :)
InshaAllah I'll post many many things about my trip, and pictures, after I've gotten them all..

FINALLY I HAVE INTERNET ON MY COMPUTER!! Yeaayy! Hihi my uncle got me this "inwi"- 3G internet connection today and now I can update you :)
As I write, I'm watching Supernatural, the episodes I downloaded before coming here. Even though I do have internet it's not as quick as Sweden's. We have the fastest internet in the world, after Japan, so every internet sucks outside of Sweden hehe.

Anyyyywhoooo, I woke up "early" today and went to an all girls gym, worked out, played in a pool and sat for hours in a jacuzzi and then sauna with my cousin. Ouf! It was heaven like :) I got home to my grandma's and just sat with her. Now, I'm upstairs, the adhan for maghreb is currently blowing through the city and I'm heading down for family time and some Moroccan tea and treats :)

OOooh my Allah it feels soooo goood to be here, I could almost cry!!! I haven't found my internet usb and my cousin's didn't work so I'm buying a new one tomorrow inshaAllah!! I've only had a wonderful time and tomorroooow I'm buying a gym card to work out every day until I go. Nice to go to an "all girls" gym inshaAllah! Anyways, I see that hajar has been checking in HAHA it's like the whole blog is about her :P

Waiting and waiting but time seems to have stopped

I woke up 7 am, unnecessary... My brother woke me up. Anyways in 20 we're out the door insha'Allah and it feels like I've waited for A G E S !!! But now time is here.. And I can't really believe it, seriously haha :P
So insha'Allah people wish me a great journey, for soon I am gone.

Last night spent great

Okay so this is the deal: I'm leaving tomorrow, Hajar accidentally found out -.- HAHAHA
So this evening I went to the mosque, listened (as good as I could) to a good lecture mashaAllah, KAMAL EL MEKKI PEOPLE, and in the middle of nowhere my brother calls me, tells me that he's in the car downstairs with his wife, my sister and her husband and they're heading to eat. I went to the food of course hahahaha.

 

Hehehe we had a lovely time. We ate, I bought my coming back ticket :) good some money ehehehe, ate some more, had desert, and finally at 10 pm we were kicked out haha. And now I'm back at my brother's house. I just printed the boarding passes, drinking orange juice and heading to bed!

I've tried on many different outfits, changed, put on, taken off, chosen, thrown etc. And I alhamdulillah have picked my outfits now. I hope that I'll be satisfied

Sveriges Unga Muslimer = Swedish Young Muslims

So the SUM-conference took place these last three days. I can't even believe it's over, or that it's Monday today!! Really?! SobhanAllah. Anyways, I wasn't there at Friday but I attended on Sat and Sun and they were great. Masha'Allah I learned sooooooo much of Kamal el Mekki specially! He's an even better lecturer in person than on youtube masha'Allah!

The thing with SUM is that I've been a part of it since I was born sobhanAllah. It's a place for me with memory, knowledge and sisterhood :D It's a beautiful place with lectures, workshops, once again brotherhood and sisterhood and many many beautiful Islamic things! So next year I would advice you to come! Insha'Allah I'll show you more pictures when they come up on the website :) meanwhile I have to start packing.. study.. take a shower.. and look at the old pictures from the last half decade!

I know! I've been the woooorst blogger sobhanAllah, and every time I say that.. I get worse sobhanAllah :/ insha'Allah kheir! This time it was for good reason masha'Allah! I've had so much to do! I was at the SUM-conference, yesterday and today, it was great!

News of the day!

1. One Tree Hill was concluded?!!?!? I realized it AFTER I'd watched the LAST episode, I was like what a weird ending, it's as if... NOOOOOOO! And then I looked it up :(

2. I look out, EVERYWHERE, the streets, the trees, the grass, the woods, EVERYTHING is covered with snow.. It didn't even happen in my deepest wishes this winter haha :P

3. I'm done with all the school work! Now, I have to do everything before hand so when I get to Morocco.. Imma have me a real vacation insha'Allah!!

4. SUM-conference started today, but tomorrow will be my first day insha'Allah, and after that: Sara's partyyy :D

5. I feel like a news reporter... Latest news: I'm watching the last "Supernatural" episode of the day and heading to bed! Sleep tight :)

Today I ran back and forth between my school and our laundry house to do all laundry before we go. Oh! I just received an email on facebook that my friend already is in Morocco and I can't wait to meet her up there insha'Allah!!
Anyways so I've studied, been to school, done laundry and just been catching up with my long lost tv show "Supernatural" hehe. I'm back on tea too, hope that habit comes back, much better than coce. At least I can guarantee an addiction in Morocco, haha Moroccan tea is THE BEST!
I miss Morocco so much... Just have to put up some pictures before I roll off... hehe..
